Terms and Conditions for Providing Security Services

πŸ”’ The Institute will maintain the attendance register for security personnel.

πŸ”’ Minimum 10th Standard Education is a must for the guards. Preference will be given to agencies offering Ex-servicemen.

πŸ”’ All security guards should wear clean uniforms, shoes, belts, caps, and name badges regularly supplied by the Agency.

πŸ”’ Security Guards will be responsible to check all incoming and outgoing vehicles at the gates and report to the Officer on Special Duty (Documentation) and Security Incharge. Any suspicious, doubtful, or problematic cases must be reported immediately to the concerned Officers.

πŸ”’ Duty Hours of the Security Personnel:

πŸ”’ The contract period is one year initially and may be extended further based on efficient and effective performance.

πŸ”’ Materials or items may only be moved out of the campus with a proper gate pass issued or endorsed by the Officer on Special Duty (Documentation) / concerned department HOD and counter-signed by the Security Incharge. A register must be maintained for material movement.

πŸ”’ Monthly bills will be paid via cheque/online (RTGS/NEFT) to the agency only. The Institute will not pay salary directly to the guards. No advance payment will be provided.

πŸ”’ In emergencies or special occasions, additional security guards must be provided at short notice at agreed man-day rates.

πŸ”’ Security guards must strictly avoid alcohol consumption or smoking while on duty. Any personnel found violating this will be barred from campus.

πŸ”’ Security Guards must be physically fit, mentally alert, and preferably aged 25–50 years.

πŸ”’ The Security Agency will be fully responsible for any loss or theft due to negligence, and the cost will be borne by the agency.

πŸ”’ The Agency must provide guards with batons and required equipment.

πŸ”’ Security Guards must maintain exemplary discipline, politeness, and follow campus rules while working for the welfare of the Institute.

πŸ”’ The Security Agency must sign an agreement as acceptance of the contract.

πŸ”’ The contract may be terminated by either party with one month’s notice.

πŸ”’ Security guards must know basic First Aid and Fire Fighting and respond when required.

πŸ”’ The Agency must pay salaries to security staff before the 10th of every month. Monthly invoices must be submitted with statutory documents.

πŸ”’ Security guards are not allowed to take part in any labour union activities within the campus.

πŸ”’ Security Guards should not be rotated or changed for at least 3 months.
